Abnormally HIGH blood pressure for freshman!? HELP?
Ok, so today ii went to the docter which was making me nervous enough, but now they are saying my B/P is way to high. it was 124 over somthing and last year it was 92 over the somthing. (sorry i cant remember, but as you can see it is 30 pnts higher!) i have to go back tomorow to get it checked again...what can i do to lower it, like to calm me before going in again!
they think that the reason why it may have been so high becasue i had a cup of coffee thismorning. I made normal coffee and steamed milk with creamer in it and mixed them for a latte-ish thing with b fast.
so tomorow ill only drink water and eat no salt, but i still need ways to calm me down before i go in, because if its still high i will have to get an ultra sound of my kidneys and i reallly dont want to.
are there any types of foods that can lowerd blood pressure? or a certain type of music i can listen to ? anything wil help! no joke ansers tho, this is serious
THANKS
Average blood pressure reading should be 120/80. Some persons vary a little form that reading and is still considered to be having normal blood pressure. Your blood pressure might vary a little to the lower side if you are petite. However ever if lower than 100/75, or you start having dizziness or heaviness in the head then that would be a cause for concern. On the other hand some persons carry a little higher reading than the average - up to 125/80. If you are nervous then you reading will be a little high. It does not necessarily means that you do have a high blood pressure. What you might need to do is to eat as much fresh raw fruits and fresh raw vegetables as you can possibly get. Trying to totally avoid salt is not only impossible, but also unhealthy. salt is necessary for life and should be used in moderation. Drink lots of water.
