Would Loestrin cause high blood pressure?
I went to donate blood and my blood pressure/pulse were a little high, and I almost couldn't donate. Once in a while, I'll just be laying down and I can feel my heart beating, or if i check it sometimes it seems really fast. It even woke me up once, and I was breathing really heavily. I eat fairly healthily and go to the gym, but it seems like my heart is going so fast sometimes. Could my birth control cause this? I'm on Loestrin 24. Thanks

Probably not caused by the birth control. Based on what you described, you could have any number of different conditions that may be contributing to your high heart rate/blood pressure.
Have you ever been checked for something called "atrial fibrillation"? Most patients describe it as their heart is "racing", even when they aren't doing anything active.
How old are you? Do you smoke? Loestrin predisposes you to blood clots, and sometimes certain types of blood clots can present in a similar way to what you described.
