The moles of "compound" equals the 2.472 g/120.371 g/mole = 0.0205 moles;
The moles of water = (5.061-2.472)/18.01 = 0.144.
Divide the moles of water by the moles of compound: 0.144/0.0205 = 7.016, so your answer is Compound * 7H2O.
